Solange practices Estate Planning and Estate Administration law at Taylor McCaffrey LLP and is well respected for her years of experience in this area. She specializes in services such as wills development, complex estates planning (including high-net worth, blended families, beneficiaries for special needs, etc.), applications for probate, court applications relating to estates, incapacity planning, and trusts.

She is very aware of the sensitivity of her work and carefully listens to her clients when it comes to their wishes and desires whether it be for the development of wills, power of attorney, health care directives, resolving disputes relating to estates or other related matters.

Though Solange has been in private practice for most of her legal career, her clients benefit from the skills and knowledge she developed earlier in her career while filling the role of an in-house senior estate planner and trust officer for large financial institutions.  The fact that she is fluent in both French and English languages, and that she works closely with several trust companies on estate planning and estate administration matters, also highlights the value Solange can bring to her clients.

Solange earned an internationally recognized T.E.P. designation from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 2022.

While Solange is a very busy lawyer and parent, she firmly believes giving back, whether it be within the legal industry or her community. She has co-chaired the Manitoba Bar Association’s Wills & Estates Section for several years. She is also a frequent presenter at Continuing Education Seminars organized within the section.  She has taught the Wills & Successions course at the University of Manitoba and often provides Estate Planning Seminars for client groups, workplaces, and charitable organizations.
