Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Bethany graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba in 2019. She completed her articling term in Kenora, Ontario, at a firm which provides legal services to First Nation clients in Treaty 3, 5 and 9 territories. She was called to the Manitoba bar in June 2021. Bethany joined Fast Trippier Clunie Wittman LLP as an associate, where she practiced in the areas of corporate and commercial law, real estate, and wills and estates. She joined Taylor McCaffrey LLP in October of 2023, where her practice focuses primarily on wills and estates. In her free time, Bethany enjoys travelling, reading, crafting, singing, and game nights with friends.

- Giizhowigamig Warming Space – a Kenora-based organization that provides a safe space for unhoused individuals to relax, eat, socialize, and stay warm, before the city’s overnight shelters open
- SNOW Night (Safe Night Off Winnipeg Streets) – an annual event held to pamper Winnipeg’s street-based sex workers
- Just a Warm Sleep – a Winnipeg-based organization that provides a safe, warm space for unhoused individuals to sleep overnight
