Edvanny Silva Burns is a lawyer at TM whose practice is in labour and employment law with a focus on business immigration. She advises employers across a broad range of workplace and workforce mobility matters, providing solutions that help organizations attract, retain, and manage talent while navigating Canada’s evolving legal landscape.

Edvanny works closely with employers on temporary and permanent residence pathways, as well as advising employers on compliance with both federal and provincial legislation.

In her labour and employment practice, Edvanny represents employers in all aspects of the employment relationship, including hiring, employment agreements, workplace policies, human rights and accommodation, discipline, terminations, labour relations, and employment standards compliance.

Originally from Brazil, Edvanny is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, allowing her to effectively assist a diverse client base. She regularly writes and presents on developments in Canadian immigration, labour, and employment law, with a particular focus on issues affecting Manitoba.
