Jamie Jurczak Named 2021 5-Star Safety Lawyer

One to watch in the Occupational Health and Safety Field

Jamie is well versed in helping organizations respond to serious workplace accidents, addressing administrative appeals, defending employers charged under provincial and federal occupational health and safety legislation, and performing regulatory compliance reviews and audits. Since the legalization of cannabis in Canada, and the abundance of provincial legislation that came with it, Jamie has become a thought leader in working to develop and update cannabis, drug and alcohol policies for Canadian companies.

Additionally, Jamie is a skilled human rights lawyer capable of conducting independent investigations. As such, she has experience dealing with a variety of workplace harassment (including sexual harassment) and violence situations.

Jamie is also a small business owner, as co-director of Maples Academy of Dance, where she continues to actively teach.
