Austin Sutherland is a junior associate at Taylor McCaffrey LLP, assisting on civil litigation matters with a focus on insurance defence and construction disputes. He has appeared before the Small Claims Court and the Court of King’s Bench, handling files involving complex liability claims, subrogated actions, coverage opinions, and construction-related disputes. Austin works across all stages of litigation, developing practical skills in case strategy, document preparation, and courtroom advocacy.
Austin obtained a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in 2021 and a Juris Doctor in 2024 from the University of Manitoba. During his studies, he clerked with the Manitoba Court of King’s Bench, gaining valuable experience on both civil and criminal matters.
