David is an experienced, personable and practical lawyer who understands the importance of timely legal advice. He is approachable and easy to understand and he cares about his clients. A significant portion of David’s practice involves Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives and Estate Administration.

David’s practice also focuses on the buying and selling of real estate—both residential and commercial—along with property development including condominiums, life leases, and subdivisions.

David represents small and medium-sized businesses and recognizes the intricate nature and complexity of legal matters that business owners face in their day-to-day survival. He is a creative problem-solver and he works hard to ensure his clients have appropriate, cost-effective solutions.

David acts for franchisors and franchisees. He drafts and reviews franchise agreements and assists clients who are starting or expanding these businesses with the development of an organizational plan.

Additionally, David works closely with many municipal governments in Manitoba and counsels officials on administrative matters and the development of bylaws.

David’s primary office is in Winnipeg. He also has satellite offices in Gimli and Riverton, Manitoba. David visits his satellite offices every first and third Friday of the month for easier accessibility for his Interlake region clients.

Raised in a community-minded family, David has spent a lifetime volunteering to give back to the communities important in his life. He spends much of his current after-hours time officiating track and field.
