We are very proud to sponsor the Drop Zone event for the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities. This year’s event will offer willing crusaders the opportunity to rappel off the roof of some of Canada’s tallest buildings. In completing this challenge, our SUPERHEROES will rappel down the Manitoba Hydro Building at 360 Portage Ave and help change the lives of Manitoba children, youth and adults with disabilities. Elona McGifford, Associate at Taylor McCaffrey LLP will be one of the participants to join a group of ‘Elite Superheroes’ on August 28, 2018, on behalf of Taylor McCaffrey. Since 2005, more than 8,400 Superheroes joined the exclusive Superhero Club for Easter Seals, raising more than $16 million dollars for children, youth and adults with disabilities across Canada. In Manitoba, the event has brought together over 800 Superheroes and over $1.3 million dollars have been raised.

The key objectives for the 2018 Drop Zone is to raise much-needed funds for the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities’ vital programs and services that improves the lives of Manitobans living with a disability.
