Taylor McCaffrey supports small business with The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce

By Taylor McCaffrey LLP on 2017/10/19

During Small Business Month, Taylor McCaffrey is sponsoring two Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce events: The Mayor’s Small Business Summit and Get Ready to Grow. Both events shine the spotlight on local small businesses with under 50 employees.

We were pleased to be the title sponsor of The Mayor’s Small Business Summit on Oct. 19 at the Fort Garry Hotel. The event focused on helping small business owners identify issues that need to be addressed and understand how to tap into city programs, permits, policies, or initiatives that can help them succeed. The Winnipeg Chamber community also welcomed Johanna Hurme at her first event as the 121st Chair of The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce. Johanna is an award-winning architect and outspoken advocate for modern urban policy, has co-founded 5468796 Architecture in 2007 and has designed some of Winnipeg’s most recognizable buildings.

Taylor McCaffrey is also sponsoring Get Ready to Grow, a member luncheon on Oct. 25 centered around the theme of business expansion. Ibrahim “Obby” Khan is hosting, and Cori Poon (Sweet C Bakery), Amanda Buhse (Coal & Canary) and Prashant Modha (Mondetta) are speaking.

Taylor McCaffrey is proud to be a Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Champion for the 2017/18 season.
