Mr. Kreel currently practices in the areas of family law and civil litigation as well as wills and estates. His family law practice encompasses all areas of family law. His civil litigation practice focuses primarily upon estate litigation and corporate and commercial litigation. He also assists clients with estate planning and administration.

As Mr. Kreel is both a lawyer, and CPA, CMA, his practice concerns many cases involving the valuation of shares of closely held companies, and the determination of income.


Mr. Kreel's practice is evenly divided between family law and civil litigation. Mr. Kreel has appeared at all levels of court in Manitoba and British Columbia. He frequently appears as legal counsel in the Court of Queen's Bench of Manitoba.

In his family law practice, Mr. Kreel provides clients with a wide range of legal services. This includes assisting clients with disputes concerning custody, access, child support, spousal support, protective relief, as well as property related matters. He also prepares cohabitation, prenuptial, and separation agreements for clients. He has significant experience with cases involving the valuation of shares of private, closely held family corporations.

In his civil litigation practice, Mr. Kreel frequently represents clients in a broad range of estate litigation matters. This includes acting for executors, trustees, and beneficiaries with respect to wills, trusts, and estates, challenges to wills on the basis of capacity, proceedings to vary or interpret trusts or wills, applications for committeeship, and applications to pass accounts. Mr. Kreel also provides general civil litigation services to clients, acting for and against individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations in a variety of contexts and legal matters.

Mr. Kreel assists clients and lawyers with the preparation of wills and powers of attorney and health care directives. He also assists clients and lawyers with the administration of estates and trusts, and general estate planning.
