A gilded event in support of men’s cancer research
By Taylor McCaffrey LLP on 2018/04/04
Receiving a cancer diagnosis is life-altering for patients and their families. While significant advances have been made for the top three cancers affecting men — prostate, lung and colorectal — CancerCare Manitoba is working incredibly hard to increase survival rates.
Three of Taylor McCaffrey’s partners, Timothy Kurbis, Brian Sexton, and Norm Snyder are attending CancerCare Manitoba Foundation’s A Gold-Plated Evening. On Wednesday, April 4, 2018, hundreds of supporters will come together at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg for the ninth bi-annual event. Since its inception, the Gold-Plated Evening Committee has raised more than $2 million in support of advancements in prevention, early detection, research and patient care in support of all men’s cancers.
This fundraiser helps men and their families facing the disease now and also helps prevent cancer for future generations, and it’s an event we are proud to have one of our partners attending to show our support.
Presented by The Paul Albrechtsen Foundation, CancerCare Manitoba Foundation’s A Gold-Plated Evening features an elegant dinner, a fireside chat, and fantastic auction prizes.
