Alex is an associate at Taylor McCaffrey LLP, where he practices primarily in the area of business law. He has experience with corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and general corporate and commercial law matters. Alex also maintains a practice on matters relating to data/privacy law, intellectual property and technology protection, licensing and enforcement.

Prior to joining Taylor McCaffrey, Alex articled and practised at a boutique firm in Toronto. Alex has appeared as counsel at all levels of court in Ontario at both the trial (jury and non-jury) and appellate levels, including at the Ontario Court of Justice, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. His experience with appellate matters include providing drafting assistance for matters before the Court of Appeal for Ontario and research assistance to a constitutional challenge to legislation case at the Supreme Court of Canada concerning the use of peremptory challenges in jury trials.

Alex received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2019 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2020.
