Andrew practices in Taylor McCaffrey LLP’s Business law and Taxation law departments with a focus on corporate commercial, tax, trust and securities law. He knows that good planning can make a world of difference for individuals and business owners alike.

Andrew’s corporate commercial and securities work helps clients implement a wide variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, windups, and debt and equity financings. His experience with financings includes financings with traditional lenders, such as financial institutions, and financings through capital raised on the private and public capital markets, such as private placement offerings utilizing the Manitoba Small Business Venture Capital Tax Credit. In addition, Andrew assists clients by preparing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements.

On the tax and trust law side of his practice, Andrew helps clients address and solve tax and trust law issues and structure corporations, partnerships, trusts, organizations, and transactions in a practical and tax efficient manner. This includes supporting colleagues in other practice areas with tax and trust law issues that impact their clients.

Working closely with accountants, financial advisors and wealth managers, Andrew is motivated by his specific interests in how businesses are formed, governed, operated, acquired, disposed of and wound up. He is driven to find practical and effective answers to a variety of legal questions. Andrew’s thoroughness and attention to detail help him plan tax efficient structures, acquisitions, and transactions for a broad range of individuals and business owners.
