Alvin's practice is solely in the area of real estate, with a special emphasis on the purchase and sale of residential real estate, new home construction, refinancing for residential lenders and corporate relocations.

After graduation, Mr. Slayen joined the law firm of Walsh Micay & Co. and was admitted into the partnership in 1978. On January 2, 2000, Mr. Slayen joined Taylor McCaffrey LLP as a partner.
